Earlier this month, Georgia’s Own expanded its partnership with University of Georgia Athletics and announced a team-wide NIL deal with the UGA women’s softball program—the first of its kind at the University. We also became the first to have a corporate logo displayed on the field in any women’s sport at Georgia—with two now prominently located outside the first and third baselines.
To celebrate, we held a special event at Jack Turner Softball Stadium, with a ceremony from Athletic Department officials, head coach Tony Baldwin, and members of the Georgia’s Own team. After helping to paint the logos on the field, we hosted a free clinic for local athletes who participated in eight different stations led by the Lady Bulldogs themselves. Aligned with National Girls and Women in Sports Month, the event highlighted our shared commitment to supporting women’s athletics and investing in opportunities that empower young women to lead, compete, and dream big—starting right here in Georgia.
We’re proud to continue partnering with organizations that help us improve what matters in communities across the state, and we wish the Lady Bulldogs the best as they kick off their 2026 season.
