Georgia’s Own Foundation + City of Atlanta team up to provide relief
April 14, 2020As part of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ $7 million relief package for COVID-19, the City of Atlanta will be donating up to $1.5 million to Georgia’s Own Foundation for distribution of grants to contract city employees. The grants of $2,000 each are designed to provide a cushion to individuals who have lost hours or have been laid off in the wake of the pandemic until further relief from the CARES Act arrives. We are thrilled to be partnering with the City on this important initiative, using our talent and resources to provide help where it is most needed. For more information, please check out our press release announcing the initiative!
